Homeschooling through Worldschooling?

Worldschooling is how we educate our kids.  Its a buzz word of sorts.  You know, a word that is popular within a certain group.

Worldschooling is a subset of homeschooling and can encompass anything from online or distance education to unschooling.

Its a lifestyle choice as well as an education choice and a choice to let your kids learn through their interaction and the world around them.

Although you don’t have to travel to worldschool, Many families use Travel as a tool helping kids learn through new environments as they experience new cultures, landscapes, religions and values.

Kids can engage with a topic like economics when they see the benefits/problems with their own eyes.  Worldschooling in Gouda – A lesson in economics shows how a little town made a living from the rights to sell Gouda Cheese.  Now Gouda cheese is known the world over.  Our kids learned all of this from our visit to this little town in the Netherlands. This is the essence of what worldshooling is about.
